Dating kid's crochet dress

I know crochet dress was a huge thing in the 70s but I have no clue about kid's crochet dress.
What do you guys think?

Adorable. I would think this is older than the 70s. It's very difficult with these crochet pieces as they were handmade and there were pattern books to make these. The styling of this one has me feeling more like the late 40s or early 50s.

I was thinking even earlier - 30's from the colours (Halloween perhaps?) and the skirt pattern, which is much like the crocheted aprons from that time. The tape also looks like the shoe laces I see from this era.

I grabbed it because it was adorable! But then I noticed I do not know anyone that can fit into that little dress. lol....
I would not know it can be that old.
