I'd love to know when this different labels on each shoe idea began/ended I've not seen it before but perhaps it's specific to this situation. Matthias Robinson Ltd was a rather upmarket department store in Leeds that was taken over by Debenhams in 1962ish so I know these were made before then.
Looking through my books I'm thinking they might be mid 50s because they already have quite a stiletto shaped heel and I couldn't find any examples of such a thin strappy sandals in the decades either side though my resources don't have many examples of evening styles like these.
Like my Lotus shoes these have a screw in heel tip but this time flat head and appears to have had a plastic tip (poss. replacement, needs redoing in any case)
Only marks besides the labels are a handwritten string of numbers up the outside strap with the size at the begining 8 1/2 B
Wish they made shoes like this now, the glitter on the heels is great stuff, round cut and thickly layered and doesn't come off at all!

I had a pair of 50s shoes with different labels in each shoe - actually in the same colourway too, gold on a taupe lining. On mine, there was only one company name involved - the other shoe had a model name. Perhaps it's a 50s thing?

Great shoes, that glitter heel is fab!
