Dating my handbag

Hi everyone! I recently bought this gorgeous purse at a flea market for a bargain, I am trying to figure out how old it is. I would say this style reminds me of 50s/60s purses, but it has no labels whatsoever. I tried looking for any labels on the metal parts, but nothing. The inside has a lining that feels like it could be polyester, it's definitely not a natural material. The exterior is leather but I'm not sure if it's genuine or artificial leather. The clasp is what fascinates me the most, it's unlike anything I've seen before. Last night I spent hours googling images of vintage purses and I couldn't find any purse with this type of closure. I hope you could help me determine how old this purse is! Thanks to everyone in advance for helping me out
