dating necklace--vintage?

So, I've just started venturing into the world of vintage jewelry (and have to say that I love Linn's vintage jewelry workshops). I've figured out dates for a lot of my recent finds, but I have a necklace that is baffling me. It has a more recent clasp, but it has the substance and weight and feel of an older piece--it's definitely not a recent necklace made of cheap materials in China. I'm thinking 70s or 80s, but this is a completely blind guess! (And I acknowledge the necklace might not even be vintage).

About the necklace: Silvertone necklace with no markings that I can find. Bumpy silver beads interspersed with black plastic beads. A lobster clasp.

Pretty necklace -- but somehow, only the second pic showed up at a good size, while the others remained small.

It looks contemporary and I think I'm seeing some silver bali beads in the one large pic. Maybe you could make the pics larger? Or maybe the pics just aren't displaying right for me.

That's better -- thank you! It's contemporary and very pretty. I can't tell what the black beads are from here, but there appear to be coupled bali beads and some silver separator beads. If you look carefully between the beads, you should be able to see the stringing material (I'm guessing it's monofilament).

Thanks for the dating help and for helping me name the bumpy silver beads! Also, thanks for the advice on trying to see the stringing material. I think the stringing material is actually string of some kind (it's definitely not monofilament)
