Dating of a Sweater

Any information with regards to this label and the era of the sweater would be greatly appreciated!

It looks 60s to me.

being made in Taiwan I would have said 80's or 90's. Does it have shoulder pads?

Ha! We all have a different idea - I'll go with '70s, probably late '70s to early '80s. I was wondering if this the shape of the jumper, or has it been clipped to the mannequin?

Melanie - yes it does have shoulder pads.
Nicole - yes it is the shape of the jumper and has not been clipped to the mannequin - it does go in at the waist.

I stand corrected, 80s it is with shoulder pads. It looked like an apres-ski sweater to me from the 60s but I should have known with the nipped in waist to think about it some more.
and frankly speaking I personally have not run in to much clothing that was made in Taiwan.

I've had a quick 'Google' scout about and it goes along with what Melanie mentioned - Made in Taiwan textiles were mostly imported during the 80s, which is possibly another clue. Thanks very much for your input Mary Jane

Another 80s feature is the off-centre pattern - If it were earlier it would be symmetrical.
