Dating of shoes?

Hi all,

First of all i jsut wanted to say hello as I am new to the site and love it already

I wondered if anyone on here has experience or knows someone who can date a pair of shoes? Basically I have some old Dior shoes and i really would love to know when they were made.
Pic is below in case anyone on here knows of their date or someone who can help me.

Oooohhh, those very pointy mules with a thin heel - now when were they around? Around 10 years ago I'd say.

Yes I have some similar shaped shoes I purchased around then (I never liked this style - but there didn't seem to be much else available at the time) If I have time I could dig out the box - I bet it still has the receipt in it!
