Dating & pricing vintage alligator shoes

Hi,

I just bought these vintage alligator shoes by Thos.Cort Inc. The toe looks 50's, but the heel seems a bit odd to me. I would appreciate it if someone could date them for me.

How would you price these (I've never sold any)?

Oh my gosh I was almost right, having said they were early 60's, when commenting on your flickr. What size are these, may I ask? (They remind me of my Gran!)

Yes, you were! 50's and 60's stuff can be awfully tricky sometimes. They are a size 9 2 A (don't know what the 2 means).
