Dating red mary janes

Hello All,
I was wondering if you can help me date these mary janes. I'm honestly not sure. I got them because they reminded of Twiggy. Any information would be helpful!

Do you have a side photo clearly showing the heel please? Are there any other markings? What does the writing on the sole say?

I think they may be tap shoes or flamenco shoes and so could be harder to date as they're not as impacted by fashion. They're rather cute, I'm tempted to ask if they're my size but I already have a great pair of red flamenco shoes. I love MJs. Yours are nice quality.

On current information, I'm reluctant to give a dating.

Cute ones. I think they may be square dance shoes; at least I can picture them worn for that, or for flamenco dancing, as Nicole mentioned.
Nice leather lining.

Aha! Thanks for the side on pic - they're great but I think they're fairly modern. No earlier than '80s.

Thank you both for the feedback! Actually Nicole, it's funny you should suggest that they are Flamenco shoes. The handwriting on the sole reads "Baneo" which is a Spanish sounding name. Could be the original owner's name. I didn't think anything of it until you mentioned this!
