Dating Saxone purple snakeskin fabric boots

I'm struggling to find ads to help me date these boots that I think are from the 90's but might be later. I'm hoping somebody may remember the quirks in this style and be able to tell me when they were in fashion! or at least narrow it down. They have a square end pointed toe, a rectangular heel and the heel has a square 'lip' at the top that extends beyond the uppers. The uppers are a shallow 'hairy' fabric (as in, imitation calf?) with the snakeskin pattern sort of, melted in? but the fabric is not stretchy. They are very high! 4" center heel height, 4 1/2" at the back.

I would say so too - the shape of the heel to me says eary to mid-2000s. There was a year or two when snakeskin prints and imitations were suddenly all over...
