Dating shell pattern crocheted lined clutch purse or bag

Very pretty and silky I love this but it could come from any number of decades surely? All I have to go on that it could be of some age is the zip (reads BYP I think and looks slightly like that russian symbol with the flick on the B) and feel of the materials outside and inside.

I'm not a purse expert but I'm seeing 40's or maybe early 50's.

Looks like raffia to me. Hard to tell the texture on screen. Is it kind of "crunchy?" Regardless, it's very pretty.

I wouldn't say crunchy, I think it's a similar material to the pink loopy hat I posted earlier maybe a plastic raffia?

Can anyone else give me some help with this? I haven't seen a shaped zip tag like this before so could that indicate a particular period?
