dating short sheer/satin stripe scarf

This came with a pair of 1920s shoes, do you think it's period?
I don't know what the fabric is, it feels like the modern nylon invisible thread - it has a stiffness to it - which is why the creases are so crisp. However the stitched eyelet detail is finely done, and does seem to indicate quality.

Melanie, these can be tricky to date but I'm getting a '60s or '70s feel from yours. It could be earlier though.

It has no labels, but the material does seem to match a pointy collar shirt I'm looking at right now, so that period would tally
