Dating suits

Is there a guide on different era's of suits. Dresses seem to be more of the obvious at times to date, but I am not quite familiar with suits. What are the obvious differences when it comes to dating suits? 30s 40s 50s 60s I'm so

Judy, that was so much help. Thank you so much for sharing. I can go with my best judgement on that suit I inquired here about that it is definitely from the 50s. Now I have another awesome blog to bookmark
