Dating this coat

Any help on dating this coat would be appreciated. There are no tags to reference. It is simply beautiful and very well made.

Very Pretty! Something makes me think 60s; the tie at the neck maybe. But then again, that big button looks kinda 40s.
Do you know the fabric? What is the lining like? Can you show a picture of it?
Be sure to check between the lining and the coat fabric for any hidden labels. Sometimes you will find a union label there.

I'm going to agree with early 60s. It's the 3/4 length sleeves that lead me to that conclusion. Love that fox fur!

Soooo pretty! And I agree with early 60s. I had a grey wool Lilli Ann coat/dress set with the coat just like this--swingy cut, attached scarf, and big chunky fox cuffs.

I'll bet this had a matching dress, too!

Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge. I double checked to see if there was an attached tag but there isn't one there. I was thinking early 60s so it feels good to have confirmation.

I have a short woollen jacket I've yet to submit with the same collar fastening but I was putting the tails through oppositely like a bow as they're shorter, I'll have to try it your way now!
