Dating this Necklace

Hi!
Hope I am on the correct thread.....I have a piece of jewelry that I acquired at an estate sale of mostly 30s 40s.
The flowers are bendable (plastic?!) but somewhat stiff too. They are backed by an openwork brass.
Metal is brassy with fishhook closure. Any help at all would be wonderful!!

This kind of design was very popular in the 1950s.
The fish hook or hook clasp also makes me think 50s. Plastic daisies and rhinestone centers.
Maybe originally part of a full set/parure with matching earrings and bracelet. Can you see any maker's name or marks?

Unfortunately there is no makers mark or name :(
The plastic is not super hard, but more rubbery, pliable and flexible...I've never seen this type of material before!

The plastic is most probably celluloid.

Agree, 1950s. You can clean the green corrosion off the brass rivets on the back by applying ketchup or mayonnaise (or any thick substance that has vinegar in it and will stay where you put it!) with a toothpick, and wiping clean after a few minutes.

If the flowers "bend", I wouldn't think they would be celluloid.....just the typical plastic from the 1950s. I've had a number of these pieces and I wouldn't describe them as celluloid.
