Dating unlabeled silk evening bag with beehive clasp

I love this little evening bag, but am having trouble dating it. There are no tags, nor any markings on the hardware except the zip (marked MICRO). The outer fabric feels (and burn tests) like silk as far as I can tell. The lining feels like satin. When found, it contained a change purse in satin to match the lining (also pictured). The clasp is a wonderful beehive shape that tilts up to release the catch. I can't decide if this bag is 40's or 50's, or perhaps I'm way off. It seems very similar to many 40's bags in my collection, but the shape is unfamiliar to me. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks!

I have a similarly shaped bag in navy velvet that was identified as 1950s. Yours is very cute with the matching purse - make sure they stay together!
