Hi all!
I've a pair of vintage "Meteor" leather upper, rubber soled (feel like plastic but are flexible where they slightly overhang) shoes. They were sold to me as 70s and definitely have the big heel/slight platform look to them, but I wondered if they might be older?
The faded brand name "Meteor" font looks and sounds more mid century to me and the font of the numbered shoe size is "fancy". I can't tell if they're 70s and "in the style of" an older shoe or from an earlier era. I've attached some photos to shoe their construction too.
I've tried to research the brand name and can't find anything other than the 50s "Meteor Sportswear" label which may or may not be related.
Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance!
