Dating Whiting & Davis mesh purse

I inherited various vintage items, including this mesh purse, with a small tag inside that says Whiting & Davis. The purse has hundreds of little squares that make this daisy-looking pattern. It is quite a beautiful and delicate thing. I’m not a collector and am wondering how I can find out when it was made and what the pattern would be?

Looks like a beautiful 1920s enamel mesh purse there, and beautiful. The prices vary due to condition and popularity... This would be considered an Art Deco design, I'd think.

So 20s, Art Deco. Maybe flapper era? I could see a flapper carrying her compact and lipstick in it. I think it’s lovely for a 100-yr-old purse.

Yes, 1920s. And I'd research completed eBay sales for this kind of purse to get an idea of the going rate. We can't appraise and such here. But you now have enough to research further. It's a lovely bag!
