dating YSL Narrow 2 3/4 inch SIlk Necktie 60 inch long

Hello everyone,
The label here fits with 60s and have been trying to track down mens ties history and I'm getting confused. How would you definitively peg a narrow/skinny tie to 60s or later 80s skinny-ness?

From memory, I am pretty sure that YSL wasn't doing any men's wear until 1972, so this would have to be from the 80s when that width was back in.

Also, 60" is very long for a 60s tie, so that's a clue as well. The 50s/60s skinny ties I've had ranged from 49" to 56" at the very longest, with most being 52" or 53".
