De Nero red suede shoes - 1950s?

Can somebody please help me date these shoes? They're by De Nero and look quite old. They're red suede with peep toes and high heels. I think they're from the UK as the sole is stamped '4' - I'm a 4 and they fit me well.

I was thinking they're from the 1950s but I'm not entirely sure. If anyone knows, I'd be grateful to hear.

I would put them as early 1950's. De Nero was a footwear wholesaler supplying high end shops and advertized in Harpers Bazaar.

Yes they were. I've not come across a pair myself but they seem to be on par with Rayne/Lotus/Norvic footwear of this period.
