(For the non-UKers, Debenhams is a department store, once Debenham & Freebody.)
I saw a fabulous ad for Debenhams Heritage in the May issue of Cosmo...a full page of fashion ads dating back to the Edwardian era. I got quite excited when I saw there was a web site. Well here it is, and I'm so disappointed... what a missed opportunity.
I love department stores, and there's so much scope to do something fabulous with the archives that you'd hope they all have. In my next life I'd like to be a department store archivist please.

PS Having read Cosmo, I feel compelled to add that I don't buy it, it was lost property in my shop! I was nearly as disappointed by the magazine as by the web site!
