Deco Beach Pajamas?

I have recently purchased some new stock and have to say this ensemble has to be my most favourite thing I have come across over the last 5 years.
However I am not a 100% of the age. I am assuming it is a beach pajama set as there is a beautiful printed top with a string fastening at the back with two buttons (not to use). The wide trousers are strung at the waist and there is a fabulous scarf (head scarf or for round the waist?). It feels like silk but and not shiny.

Could you help me?

I think they are more intimate than for the beach - at home pyjamas made from Japanese silk. FABULOUS print though.

Thank you for your help Jonathan. Do you think the scarf would have been for the head then? And 20's or early 30's?

Does it actually match the other prints? Or is it just a separate scarf that was stored with the pyjamas.

It feels the same, has the same colours and some of the same designs (semi circles of different colours joined), but not exactly all the same patterns

In which case I bet they were all originally bought by the same women at the same time, but not sold as a set to be worn together.
