Deep Red shoes need a date

I was leaning toward late 40's early 50's Stamped on the insole Natural Bridge. ( never seen that brand of shoes before)

Aren't they sweet??

Unfortunatley only a size 6.5
 
Ooo those are <i>sweet</i>! Cherry red! For some reason I want to say early 60's - but please don't trust me cause I am almost ALWAYS wrong when it comes to dating shoes. But I try!

I think 60's also...like 65-66 when that heel debuted. And a hint of the pointy toe. Like a Mom's venture into the wild & wacky world of red shoes. Are they patent or just well-shined leather?

Conservative meets The Wizard of Oz (although the shoes were silver in the book - didn't show well in the movie so license was taken to make them red).
 
THey are difficult to be sure as the lower, sturdier heel is less datable than the stiletto of the same period, but I think they ae late 1950s. I would expect either a stacked heel or squash Louis heel if they were into the 60s.
 
Well, I'm date-dumbfounded, but it seems to me that 6.5s do well. They're still a pretty common size, no? It's seemed to me like 6.5-7.5 are much more sure sellers than anything smaller or larger, unless we're talking just-plain-collectable, wild, 40s platforms.
