Delta Hat?

Is this a toque tilt hat and possibly 1940s. The HB seems familiar to me also but I cannot remember. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have looked everywhere for the name. The HB is on some other hats I have in the past. H.B.Burnett of New York? Possible connection?

The HB part would be trademark searcheable as well, only I struggle to use the US system.

Our resident hat experts will know this for sure but I believe the Delta & HB refer to the maker of the felt & not the hat.

From the late 40s early 50s. Not a tilt style, but very sweet.
Agree, the hat felt maker, not the designer.
