Describing Lilli Ann suit

I'm having a hard time listing this suit.

Lilli Ann from the 70's?

But the jacket has such a 40's style to it with-how would I describe it?

Double peplum?

I'd love to put a buy it now on it...I really need cash right now-any suggestions?

And I should have asked Santa for a steamer, I think...but I'm sure happy with Hedda-Less!!!

Looks 80s-does-40s to me, too. Very pretty!

The hang-it-nearby-while-you-take-a-hot-steamy-shower trick might help to relax the skirt wrinkles. (I did that a lot, before finally buying a steamer!)

It's 80's & Stunning!! You might want to mention The Number of darts in the jacket- Adds to the value! Mention the classic Lilli Anne Peplum she did in the 40's, A "Peatal" Peplum! Dead ringer for her original designs of the 40's & 50's... sans the cuff.
Lucky dog to find this! A studio wardrobe department should buy this! If Vintage buttons were added, It would look FABU!!
ps... Target has cheap steamers(can i post this?) I think mine is a Shark & I love it!

Great suit, and very "80s-does-40s." And I agree with KK about the steamer. I ordered one off eBay, paid quite a bit for it, and it died on me just after the warranty expired (like 60 days....). Went to Target, bought a Shark for less money, and it's still going strong after 2 years. I love it!

If you don't have a steamer, wet a dish towel (a diaper is better) squeeze dry; wrap around a hot iron and steam. Claire
