designer furs without labels?

Hi, I am a vintage fur hound and recently at a flea market a seller was unloading a big box of furs. I jumped on them grabbing them and defending them from the other grabby ladies. I got a couple fox stoles with tails, a fox coat, and a red quilted jacket with red fox trim.
Well after I got them I saw the fox jacket has "Christian Dior" all over the lining, and the quilted with fox has "Fendi" and the double Fs all over the lining.

Neither has an actual label. Is this normal?

I can post some pics later if needed

I have a Dior suit from the mid 60s that has 'Christian Dior' damask lining but no label. I think its Dior New York quality, well made but not couture. Also, the label might have been taken out, especially out of a fur as that would be taken off upon arrival, and showing off a label is considered vulgar in polite circles!

Yes both linings are avery subtle damask, something I wouldn't expect in a fake. I got them because they are beautiful (and a steal), only after did I notice the linings.
Thanks Jonathan I didn't even think of this
