I found this dress at an estate sale recently. The designer is Sarff Zumpano. Can anyone give me some info?Thanks!

Judging by the label, which features a stylised needle and thread, I think you probably have a dressmaker's label rather than a designer. In the '60s it was common for special event gowns to be made by the local dressmaker and there were so many, the internet is silent on many.

that is gorgeous. i agree with nicole it's from the 60s.

since it has both designer label and one from the shop where it was purchased, not a dressmaker's dress. but it is an obscure designer. i've never heard of him or her before either. nicole's right, there were many and too often you can't find any info on them online.

but, gorgeous dress!
