Designers Ben Barrack (NY) & Jay Kobrin?

Hi all,

I just picked up the most wonderful ELB dress, label "Ben Barrack, New York." Looks late 40s/early 50s; can't find any info on him. Somebody's got what they're calling a 60s dress on eBay by him, but it's nothing like my dress. Anybody know anything--dates of activity, other design houses he may have affiliated with?

Also looking for info on design house Maisonette & one of their designers, Jay Kobrin. Would be 60s era. Have seen other Maisonette pieces and have heard the name before, but nothing, nada, on Jay Kobrin.

I did a google search and found a Ben Barrack for I . Magnin dress - for what that is worth
