Did you ever wear a Spoon Ring?

I found one the other day and I bet if I look I will find one in my old jewelry box. Seems they were popular in the late 60s, early 70s. This one is marked International and deep silver which makes me think plated but it is really neat and nicer than some I have seen.

So, did you ever wear one and when?

I remember these from High School in the mid-1970's. The boys taking Auto Shop or Machine Shop classes had access to tools for making these. I remember being told they needed solid silver spoons, because plating would come off while they heated and bent them.

I still have one of those in my jewelry box and I wore it in the mid-to-late 60s.

I am thinking that this ring has a deep overlay of silver. I also think this is the Orleans pattern of International and it would date to 1967. It is definitely an older vintage ring.

I could swear that I have that exact ring. I wore it in the '90s, and it was vintage then. I think my grandfather gave it to me.

I'll have to check my jewelry box and see if I still have it!

It's funny this came up now. I wore one in high school ~1970 and I just sold it last month:

I have never seen a fork bracelet. That is so cool!

I wear one that I made in HS in the 70's. It's made from a sterling spoon that had been engraved 1902. I wear it all the time!
