Difficulty dating Church's shoes!

I'm struggling to date these because Church make such classic designs. I've seen a 1940's pair with exactly the same uppers as these, but due to the heel and flatness of the toes I think these are probably 1960's? the other problem I have is the logo and handwritten markings appear earlier to me and don't match other Church shoes that I am more confident are from the 1960's. I don't know when that elongated D shaped heel tip came in but I don't think I've seen that any earlier either. Love to hear your thoughts people.

Honestly, these are kind of impossible to date accurately. They could be 1953 or 1963 - they could almost be 1973 (except the heel isn't quite right...) I think I would go earlier than later. The leather sole, round toe... but I'm not promising that.

:( gah and I had such faith in you Jonathan! only kidding... they came with the tan 50's heels and other 60's shoes all the same size so I'm pretty sure we're in that area.
it's a good job Church's just got back to me and said they'll take a look! I love these old companies, records going back centuries...

A guest contacted me about these recently to see what Church said about these shoes so I thought I'd share what I'd found:
The style above was made in the late 60's (imagine them in plastic rather than leather, and you get much closer to the average market styles!)
made in the Norhampton factory (I don't know if where they were made effects the dates, but good to know anyway, as Church evidentally had a few factory locations, this being the centre.)
Church’s used the Arch moulded brand right up into the 80s, production stopped late 80s of ladies shoes.
From handling several pairs myself they interchanged the old hand and foot logo and the archmoulded one you see above at least up to the 60's, so those are no help in dating really.
