Can anyone tell me how to find more info on this Christian Dior Dress? I was told it's from the 50's, and am trying to research it and see if it's valuable.

Thanks
Brian

It does look to be 1950s or a 1950s revival style. However, the label is not a 1950s Dior label. Dior clothing in the 1950s was not made in the USA. Exceptions are that the Dior-New York label was used for Dior's licensed (and Paris designed) clothing to be made in the USA at selected upscale stores, Holt Renfrew in Canada also had an agreement with Dior, and London too, (Christian Dior-London) in the late 1950s.

Just thinking the label is not original to the dress. It does not appear to be couture construction either, judging by the photos. The "Woven in Italy" also seems odd for that dress's fabrics, it is a term seem often on knit fabrics like sweaters, fine knit suits, etc.
