Do you advertise in print magazines?

I'm not sure it IS different - but figured I might as well point it out! LOL!

Mostly I'd figure it's different because, at least with the Weekly, it's a local audience with with I'm trying to gain recognition.
It's starting to pay off -- people come in regularly that tell me they've seen my ad there :)

For a b&m you're looking for actual foot traffic, rather than trying to get someone to your website. My little town has too many local weeklies, so it took me quite a lot of trial & error to find the ones that showed results. I advertise in one neighborhood weekly paper that's mailed to homes, so it's really being read with the morning coffee as opposed to the free weeklies stacked outside of restaurants that get quickly picked up and then thrown out. Then I also do a color ad in a local magazine that's given out at tourist spots and hotels. The only ad I've done for my website is on the dressaday blog. I've considered trying other blogs (yours, for example!) or online magazines like Neet where readers can click through to the site.

I am thinking of advertising on the online magazines... Some of them are amazing and are more targeted at the audience I am seeking.

If I were to do print I would do BUSI Magazine....
