do you put music on your ebay listings?
Please stop, it NEVER fails to make me jump when I view a lising and music starts, any music.
maybe I'm just on edge, hehehe
sorry about the rant
Never ever ever.
I'm with you, it makes me jump. Actually, I usually browse with my speakers on mute and only turn them up if I'm watching a video clip of some sort.
I usually have my speakers turned off, but it DOES gum up my browser because I don't have access to DSL or high speed internet at home, and the music takes up too much bandwidth.
Same goes for a lot of the slide shows...I often end up closing the browser and moving on.
I hate sites that play music! Not just ebay - any site.
Fine if you'd like to play music but I'd prefer a box to pop up "Would you like to play the accompanying music?" and that way I can choose - I, too, usually have my volume turned down so that I don't have to hear it.
Not that I'm anti music but unless you are selling the CD of the music that plays it has absolutely nothing to do with whatever anyone is selling. I also leave my speakers off so I'm with everyone here, NO music!
One time, waaayyyy back when baby was nursing, I had finished nursing him and he had fallen asleep. Since he was content and cute, and I was at the desk cruising ebay anyway, I just stayed put. One of the listings had music, and the speakers were unknowingly set at "ear bleed".
It woke baby, made him cry, and got hubby in trouble for having the volume that high.
I HATE auctions and sites that have music playing, especially when it plays the same music over and over again you click on different pages. There is an antiques fair website that I visit to check out the dates of the next fair and bus time table sot the fair and it starts the music over and over again with each page you click. :lalala:
