Do you 'Hunch'?

Do you \'Hunch\'?

Does anyone use, or contribute to, the 'decision engine' website Hunch? Its intended to help people reach decisions using mini-questionnaires, and many of them relate to purchases. The content is user-generated, and users can vote on the 'results' so you can see what 'people like you' prefer.

Disclaimer - I'm not affiliated in any way with Hunch :)

Anyway, I've constructed a few 'topics' that relate to vintage, and helped build up a very sketchy one about buying vintage online:

http://www.hunch.com/vintage-clothing-online/

But I reckon it would be great to have more vintagey goodness on Hunch. For a start - there could be plenty more results on the above topic from VFG members! I feel like I'm the only one there that's contributing vintage subjects!

So, has anyone 'hunched' yet?

btw - I constructed a fun topic called 'Which decade suits me best?' which is sort of vintage-related and not to be taken seriously at all:

http://www.hunch.com/favorite-decade/

Well, I can certainly add your shop to the results, Carrie :D

I worked on that topic before I registered on the VFG forum, quite a while ago actually. Now I'm realising how many more online stores should be included!

So - which decade suited you best?? ;)

The 30s vampYou can pitch in with the guys, and swap wisecracks with the best of them, but under that satin sheath dress is a heart yearning for a strong man to look after you, and pay the bills. He'll be wearing a fedora, pinstripes, and might well be cracking his knuckles.

Its so me!

Ooohhhh errrrrr! I like it! :) Just added my site but must log out now, otherwise I can see myself there all day! I've put the vote in for other VFG members too. :)

Excellent! Thanks for adding your shop to that topic, Louise. I'll nip over and add my 'yes' vote to it ;)

You do have to be careful not to be too 'promotional' in your contributions because it is supposed to be offering 'impartial' information though. Transparent marketing ploys are usually deleted (along with the accounts).

So we've got a 40s siren (Carrie) and a 30s vamp (nostalgic*collections)! I can't really 'play' the game because I wrote it, but I think I'd probably be a 40s siren too!

 The 30s vamps and the 40s sirens are neck and neck!

Louise - I would urge you to delete your pro-con for your shop on Hunch. Let others do that for you - like me for instance! :saint:

It just looks a bit too promotional and you could be zapped by the admin!

Go to 'your' page, click on the 'Contributions' tab and find your pro-con. You can delete it from there.

Its a great idea to add pro-cons to other shops though :)

 I wouldn't claim that my highly unscientific little topic is accurate by any means, but I did try to tailor all the answers to 'fit' the results.

Don't fight it, Suzanne! Let your inner Marilyn out! :drinking2:
