This is a suit of exceptional quality and appears to be custom made. It has no identifying tags. I'd love to have some of your ideas of who the designer might be--although I know this is probably hopeless!
The fabric seems to be a mohair bend in various shades of orange, brown and black. The fox fur is unusually thick and long.
Pencil skirt.
Swing jacket. The jacket has what I call "cape arms", that is--sleeves fully hidden under an upper fabric cape over the arms. I've seen this often in Lilli Ann coats. What is this called?
Satin lining in both pieces is backed with thin black wool.
Jacket closes with a single large black button at the throat.
Skirt has black metal side zipper (metal teeth), labeled "Green".
"Imported Fabric" label.
No Union Label.
Does anyone have any idea who the designer may be? I can send interior photos, but the lining is all black.
