been all morning trying to find the cellophene bags that you find ties displayed in .....cant find any anywhere unless i want to buy 5000

i only want a few prob 100 max.....its for a trial run...so to speak...... as i have loads of men's ties.....which to be honest i just dont know what to do with.......they are too good to sell on as rags.....

so does anyone know where i can get a small quantity of these display bags from....? the little tie hangers are no problem to get hold of.......

any ideas where i could get a small quantity from i would be extremely gratefull.....

I don't think you will be able to find these in a small quantity as they are such a off size type bag. You could buy some cellophene sheets like you use to do gift baskets and make a few bags using clear double sided scotch tape.

thanks peeps for the links and the suggestions.........

i had a brain storm/idea this morning......( prob a bad one lol....)

i have loads and i mean loads of ties....of various ages....thin/thick ones... various patterns etc......

and they are too good to be sold on to the ragman.......so i thought i would ...re-label and package them..... and see if any of these ethical green shops ( or even normal clothes/department stores) would be interested.....

i know its a long shot...... but i thought with a little info about recycling ...reusing...saving the planet....etc......and a good name/label...... it could work.....

either that see if i could make some tie skirts......just sew a load of ties together and make hippy style skirts.....

ok..... i will come come back to the land of normality now ....:BAGUSE:

Good luck with your tie project!! I have also seen tablecloths for those round decorator tables (the inexpensive press board variety) made from ties that have been quite spectacular!!
