Do you recognize this label on a nightgown?

This nightgown is made of cotton batiste with eyelet embroidery. I would really appreciate help with this label, reading Strictly Hand Made, with a blue eagle and shield. I think the shield reads G A Co or A G Co. That label is attached in the side seam, and a tiny label stamped 829 is attached by wide metal staple to the neckline. Is this anything you know?

Also, would someone be able to help me with the era? To me it looks like a simple Edwardian style, c.1910-15, but I am rather unsure of myself.

This is going to be an overly-long post to say "I don't know," but...

-- I tried searching trademarks for an eagle and a shield, but did not find anything that fit
-- I searched the somewhat unusual phrase "Strictly Hand Made" and virtually every reference I found to clothing (lingerie specifically) with that expression dated from 1900-1920's
-- I thought if the company used a patriotic eagle in their logo, they might have a patriotic "American" in their name, so I tried "American Garment Co"
-- I found two possible "American Garment Co" companies. One seems to have dissolved in 1906-1907 and I found a brief reference or two to the other(?) in 1920-1922ish
-- I thought the empire waist was not typical of the 1920's, but I found one in the 1922 ad seen below
-- I can't remember what I was searching for that led me to this 1919 Philippino publication that caught my eye because of the similar logo...and the eagle...and the "American"...and don't you love the "vndergarment"?
-- I also found the 1910 "Strictly Hand Made" ad below with the reference to "handmade eyelets run with ribbon"
-- In spite of everything above, though, the labels on your beautiful gown struck me as more recent than the 1920's

You are incredible Lynne! :clapping: I love having you as a reference resource.

I can't believe how similar that Vndergarment logo appears...perhaps some sort of connection?
