Does a dress form's model # indicate year of manufacture?

Hello VFG! I purchased this dress form, and am trying to determine if model #1931 indicates the year it was manufactured. There are no makers marks on the cast iron base, or anywhere else that I can find.

It does seem generally assumed that the two correlate (model # = year) but I'd love to know if that is an accurate way to date this item or not.

Hi Joyride, I doubt it's a year, but it would be nice, wouldn't it?

One way to help date would be by measurements/proportions. It does seem to have that straight down shape that was fashionable in the '20s and early '30s so it might be fairly accurate as to date. I assume that '34' is a bust measurement (34 inches) so depending on what the other measurements are, you can help date it.
