Hi everyone, I have this piece I found in a flea market that I couldnt find much about. I couldnt find much about the brand/label ("Paradise" ) but I found some other vintage sellers with pieces with the same exact label (mostly italians so this is why I think it could be from here but I speak italian andcouldnt find much even in my language).
If you know anything about this it would be amazing and really helpful.
About dating, it screams late 80s early 90s to me ( I can't contain myself from calling it the "nanny named Fran" outfit) .
Thank you everyone have a nice day!

I've never heard of Paradise, so no help there, but i agree it appears to be late 80s/early 90s, possibly. funny, i refer to these short skirt suits as "Ally McBeal suits" lol

It is very Fran Fine.

The fact that the label is written (partially) in English suggests it was made for an export market so the company 'Paradise' may not be Italian. Does it have a size label or measurements? Different countries have different systems so that can help locate it. Paradise, is sadly a common name and might be hard to find without more information.

Agree with an early to mid '90s timeline. The shoulders are too small for '80s, so I'd expect it to be post-'93 or so.

Hi! Thank you a lot to both of you for the help! I just checked and no, no other labels at all, the skirt has nothing attached. I noticed the "90% FI. 10% LU." I don't even know what fabrics they are referencing? I thought it was "FI for Filato" ( it is kinda the translation of yarn in italian BUT it makes no sense) and "LU" for Lurex( as if they intended the "yarn" of the fabric was 90% yarn with 10% lurex woven in). But it doesnt sound right at all and makes little sense now that you made me double check.
You have any idea about the mistery fabric label?
Also, I spoke with a vintage seller that was selling another really flashy piece with the same "paradise" golden label and she told me she is convinced it was a small boutique in Rome but I don't think that's right either.
Thanks again for the help!
Have a nice day
