Does anyone know what vintage purse manufactures used the H logo for purses?

Hi vintage lovers!

I was gifted years ago two very high quality leather handbags with the closures made of brass with H logos, they are not marked Hermes so I am very doubtful they are Hermes - and was wondering what other purse manufacturers used the large gold H logo? I believe the purses are from the 1970's would be my best guess - would appreciate any of your expertise on what brand these two purses could possibly be?

Have you looked inside, on the straps, and under the front tab for any date stamps?
