Does anyone own an early 1950's Singer Sewing Machine?

I've been going through some book shelves and have a fantastic book by Singer. It's title is Singer Sewing Skills Reference Book and it has a ton of vintage sewing techniques that can be performed with the different feet and attachments of the Singer machine of the time. It's copyright is 1954.

It's such a neat book and I would love to give it to someone to go with their machine. Contact me through messages if you're interested.

We have several old singer machines in our household but as for knowing how old they are?! we have my gran's black and gold embellished one with the wooden base & cover, hand cranked wheel - that's definetly got some age to it, my mum reckons it's older than 50's, her beige plastic and orange flower power one from 1976 and possibly a couple more that have been passed on to us....needless to say we sew a fair bit.

I have one nicknamed the "Rockteer" So incrediblty vintage 1950's. It's a slant model machine the last one made in that genre, the 301,401, 501. Is this the manual you are referring to?
