I bought this for a friend's Christmas pressie, and was hoping to get you folks' opinions on a rough date.. I have no experience with menswear! Done some quick Googling and checked out the label resource, seems to be mainly womenswear.. did Loper have several retail bases?

Nice one! I love vintage menswear. The 100% cotton content, is an additional indicator of 60s vintage in this case.
70s Don Loper shirts will often have poly content.
