Don Simonelli for Modelia coat, what year?

All I can find on Simonelli is that he worked for several designers, including Modelia from the late 60s to the early 80s--that's a long time span.

This coat was made for "Lord & Taylor" so that could be any of those years as well. And the label (compared to the label resource doesn't nail it for sure.

What do you think? This is HOT neon pink--so I think 80's. It came from an estate sale of an elderly woman who collected designer clothes. That's all I have.

Oh, also this is a very heavy wool coat.

This was the union tag used 1963-74. I would say the coat is late 60s in vintage.

wow, I don't how I could be so dense, but I haven't looked at the changing union labels! You're right. Well, what do you know. The 60s.

Just have to say - that's a fabulous coat!

Thank It was a find. It is a little late in the season for a heavy wool coat. Still, I'll post it & see what happens.
