Hello,

I wonder does anyone know where I can find Donald Davies clothes?

Davies was an Irish textile designer in the 60s, 70s and specialised in wool/linen dresses and dress shirts.

I'd love to hear from anyone who can help or point me in the right direction. [email protected]

I was going to say ebay but looks like you're already on it when I did a quick search :D

Aside from that, asking here is a good move as members may well have items in their inventory that is unlisted. I'm afraid I don't, but hopefully someone else will be able to help.

I rec'd your email about this -- but I wasn't familiar with this designer and when I did a quick Google search of the name, all that initially showed up was that Donald Davies
( See Wikipedia page on Donald Davies ) was a British computer scientist who was co-inventor of "packet switching".
I've been getting a lot of suspicious spam lately and I actually feared this was some sort of weird computer hoax!
I'm sorry! :duh: :rolleyes:

Anyway -- I hope you can forgive my ignorance of this designer -- hopefully someone else here can help you!
 
No, I'm afraid that item is long gone. I do run across items from time to time. They must have been popular with travelers to Ireland, of perhaps they were marketed here in the US.
