Donny Brook Coat - strange, help identify

I pulled this Donny Brooke Coat out of my moms closet. It’s stunning, wool and lined.
Here’s what’s strange. The label is Donny Brook Authentic Outwear. Can’t find my history on DonnyBrooke. Very classic style, belt (which personally I think makes it less stylish) looks 90s or 2000s, but the quality seems much better/older. The buttons aren’t plastic - wool covered. Thoughts? Tag with information on materials/style is completely faded away.

It would be helpful to include photos of any and all labels/tags. :)
Personally, I remember Donnybrook as a readily available US department store type of brand.
A google search reveals what appear to be quite a lot of Donnybrook wool coats available on the secondary market, and even more faux fur coats by them.

I also found THIS, which says they were active from 1980-98. However, I suppose the Levy Group could have brought the name back at some point with "Donnybrook Authentic Outerwear".
Arthur Levy's 2007 obituary mentions the Donnybrook brand in the present tense:
"the New York-based firm, which sells such licensed labels as Liz Claiborne and Esprit, and proprietary ones like Braetan and Donnybrook."

Label pics (however faded), pics of the construction & check if the shoulder pads are spongy would be helpful in identifying age.

the style is suggestive of earlier however it could be a modern reiteration.

love that collar!
