I've googled and search till I'm crosseyed, and just cannot find out any solid information on this label:

Anyone ever hear of Ms. Lamour's involvement with a dress label?

The dress is 1946ish.

Thanks so much!
Lizzie

I didn't know she had a label too -- a lot of stars had labels. Of course Gloria Swanson is fairly common, but there was also Amelia Earhart, Ginger Rogers, Shirley Temple, Margaret O'Brien, Patty Duke, Deana Durbin, and Billie Burke, to name a few. As far as I know, in all cases the stars had nothing to do with the design of any of the garments or millinery, they just rented out their name to the manufacturer so they could make a little extra money. They were often featured in the advertising, and supposedly it helped to sell the product.
