I agree with most of the "Do's"

But I disagree with most of the "Don'ts".

Oh well.

This is actually the 2nd time in the last 5 years that Member's Only jackets have been "hip".
I sell every single one I get in my store - usually for about $30.

Crazy, huh?

Overall, I like the story. It's great for vintage, overall. It's not going to sway those who DO like to wear "vintage head to toe", but it may reach those who might not have considered vintage before.

All I wanna know is ...is that really the best vintage that they could find in NYC? geez... :o

Hmmmm. The whole do vs. don't emphasis is getting tired. This article would have been better as a positive way to incorporate vintage into the modern wardrobe. Honestly, there's enough out there to make women feel inadequate about the way they look. Because this article is essentially saying it's a good thing to wear vintage (but you're doing it all wrong, sister.)

They can kiss my pop beads ! Anything goes. Even old Mrs. Grundy wears what she wants. Pink hair, poodle skirt, bass weejuns and a walker with fuzzy dice. My kind of girl !

AMEN....when customers ask me 'where would I wear a fur coat?', I say 'In the traditional place--over your swim suit!'
