Reluctantly thinning out my hat collection.
Of course rethinking this beauty
I checked the label resource and tag is 40's. It's just so cool and modern, like a sculpture. It's art! Knit fabric is stretched on a stiff form. Matching hat pin.
Thanks for any info!

So, I was photographing another hat without a label and noticed this little star. It's the same as the mustard color hat, same braided elastic too. Has anyone seen this little sewn star before?

That makes sense, Amy, especially since it is positioned on the opposite side of the inner head band overlap, which usually indicates the back.
