I am looking for any info on this dress...style, era/date etc. And I have no idea what that says above the Elizabeth Arden label, any ideas? The snaps (which are visible in the close up) are like cloth covered and look old, never seen anything like them. Any info would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

agree w/everyone above; Pauline Trigere, 60's and it probably had a jacket originally.

that is scrumptious.

uhm, what size/measurements is it, by any chance??? looks rather large-ish on your manni??

maybe a 10???????? are you keeping? or selling??

WOW! You guys are great! Thanks so much for all the info! There are no other labels in the dress other than the ones that are pictured. It def. feels like a linen but has a tweed look to it when you look closely, so am not sure. I was planning on selling it, because unfortunately it does not fit me. It is large on the mannequin (and it may just be a size 10, but I can't be sure), and there is no size tag, but it measures 19.5" flat across the dress from underarm to underarm, 41" total length, there are front pockets and it is lined. It is in wonderful condition, the big black button at the top has some scratches on it, but nothing else really to mention. I was planning on listing on ebay, but I won't if your interested Mary.

oh, vintagecouture863, you are very sweet to even say that, but you should list on ebay as Pauline Trigere can pull in some good bidders/collectors. but i would love to know WHEN you list it, if you don't mind ~ ;)

Mary, I will be listing it this Sunday evening. I did see that her stuff does do well on ebay, so I am excited! Thanks everyone for all your help you guys are amazing as always!

Glamoursurf...what did you mean by "scooter" feel to it, is this relating to the particular style of the dress?

answering for her, but as far as I understand, a scooter dress is a 60s Mod dress, such as might have been been worn by a girl Mod on a scooter.

As shown here modelled by Blythe ;)
