Dress Dating

I'm really not positive on either of these gowns...
The black one is polyester, and has a zipper up the back.
The white one has a lace overlay on the bodice, and a back zipper up the skirt of the dress. It then closes the bodice with hooks and eyes.
If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

The first looks quite 70s to me. I think nylon zips became the norm at the end of the 1960s. The second dress looks maybe 80s?Is the rear zipper nylon too?

I like the black ruffliness!

the black one looks late 60's 1968-1972 to me thta frill was very in!!
the white dress with spagetti straps must be 80's...

I would have guessed early 70s on the black one and late 70s on the white one.

Yes, the rear zipper is nylon too.

They both look 70's to me, and I think Jonathan is spot on--early for the first, and late (or I'd say late-mid) on the second.
