dress identification- 60s?

Hello there! Its been awhile but I'm back with an unusual vintage dress. The print and cut is so unusual- I don't know if its asian or indian or just graphic 60s. It is all cotton, is lined in cotton and has NO modern construction techniques. It has a front metal zipper closure. Cotton "piping" frogs additional close front. Center front slit and slits on sleeves as well. No manufacturers tags. It may have been hemmed up from a longer version as the hem is quite deep. There is something about this that seems kinda 40s- maybe its just the sleeves, the length or the pattern. Can't put my finger on it. Any suggestions? THANK YOU!

Josette, it looks Asian to me - something bought or made in Hong Kong or Singapore perhaps? The styling is a little hard to date but the slit up the centre front and sleeves suggests it's fairly modern, '60-70s would be my guess.

looks like an Indonesian print to me, most likely custom made which makes dating difficult, but i'm getting a 70s vibe from it. it may have been designed as a lounging robe/dress ~

Ah, you're right Mary - Indonesian. I should have picked that! Split sleeves were popular in the late '70s, it took a while to come to me but I'm updating my dating (so to speak).
